Day 01 Arrival to San José/ Posada San Miguel A private van will provide transportation from the airport to Posada San Miguel; a first-class “Posada” located 30 minutes from San Jose.  Posada San Miguel is an 1820 house converted in a beautiful 4 room Inn with friendly and relax atmosphere. Day 02 Tortuguero / Mawamba Lodge
Early today you will board the Mawamba Lodge Shuttle.  They will take you across the lush Braulio Carrillo Rainforest, the extensive banana plantations, and the short boat ride to Tortuguero Canals National Park. Located on the Caribbean Coast, its exuberant network of water canals are teeming with exotic flora and fauna including the endangered Great Green Macaw, White-Faced monkeys, and Green Sea Turtles.  Mawamba Lodge is a rustic yet comfortable lodge.  In addition to the exciting surroundings, the lodge offers a beautiful swimming pool, delicious buffet meals, and spacious rooms.

Day 03 Tortuguero / Mawamba Lodge Suggested activities: Enjoy nature at its best by gliding on a boat journey through the canals when dawn breaks through the jungle.  Like true explorers you can spot toucans, monkeys, sloths, and a myriad of tropical birds. A bilingual guide will provide exciting insight into the habitat and quirks of these canal dwellers. After a hearty meal at the Lodge, you can proceed with another guided hiking tour through the jungle to the heights of Tortuguero Hill.  Mawamba offers a magical evening tour to witness the egg-laying ritual of the Atlantic Green Sea Turtle.

Day 04 Flight to Tamarindo / Hotel Jardín del Eden You will board a small plane from Tortuguero to Tamarindo, in the Pacific Coast. Day 05 Hotel Jardín del Eden / ATV - snorkeling tour Today you will enjoy the combination of the exhilaration of riding an ATV with the diversity of our forests and the beauty of our ocean.  This trip will take you to Playa Real where you can snorkel for about an hour and see exotic fish of incredible colors.  You can also enjoy the beauty of Playa Grande and Playa Ventanas before you return to Tamarindo Adventures. Day 06 Hotel Jardín del Eden Suggested activities: Tour Wave runner Golden Coast. The guide will take you to the beaches more beautiful of the north coast from Conchal. You will enjoy the beach, white sand beach special for swimmers, and you will see the marina where you can see the anchored yachts, and finally you will pass by different beaches. Day 08 Arenas del Mar / Damas Island mangrove kayaking This is a very special opportunity to get in touch with nature, feel the water under your kayak while paddling through amazing places. Besides the wonderful scenic beauty, you can also appreciate a great diversity of wildlife. Kayaking through this unique and protected inland waterway is truly a great adventure. You will combine adventure with education, which is easy since the Damas is the perfect place to learn about one of the most important ecosystems in the world, the Mangrove Forest.
