Day 1 Arrival to San José/ Marriott Hotel A  Best of Costa Rica representative will greet you at the airport and provide transportation to the Costa Rica  Marriott Hotel. Nestled in a 30 acre coffee plantation, this luxury hotel is a replica of a colonial "Hacienda".   Among other amenities, you and your beloved can enjoy its golf course, 2 outdoor swimming pools, health club, sauna, and choice of five restaurants. Day 2 Tortuguero Canals Discovery Adventure/Pachira Lodge
Your day begins bright and early when you board the Pachira Lodge Shuttle to begin your unforgettable Tortuguero Canals Discovery Adventure.  A bilingual guide will accompany you throughout the drive across the lush Braulio Carrillo Rainforest, the extensive banana plantations, and the short boat ride to Tortuguero Canals National Park -one of the most bio-diverse areas of Costa Rica.
Located on the Caribbean Coast, its exuberant network of water canals are teeming with exotic flora and fauna including the endangered Great Green Macaw, White-Faced monkeys, and Green Sea Turtles.  Accessible only by water, Pachira Lodge is a rustic yet comfortable lodge located five minutes from the National Park's entrance.  In addition to the exciting surroundings, the lodge offers a beautiful swimming pool, delicious buffet meals, and spacious rooms. Day 3 Tortuguero Canals/Pachira Lodge Optional morning tour: Enjoy nature at its best by gliding on a boat journey through the canals when dawn breaks through the jungle.  Like true explorers you can spot toucans, monkeys, sloths, and a myriad of tropical birds. A bilingual guide will provide exciting insight into the habitat and quirks of these canal dwellers. After a hearty meal at the Lodge, you can proceed with another guided hiking tour through the jungle to the heights of Tortuguero Hill.  For those traveling between July-October, Pachira offers a magical evening tour to witness the egg-laying ritual of the Atlantic Green Sea Turtle. Day 6 Punta Islita *Suggested activities: Zip Line Adventure  Roam the forest canopy as you safely zip from platform to platform thanks to a setup of steel cables, climbing gear, and harnesses.  You may even spot a monkey or two as you glide over the green canopy canvass!  Our experienced guides are fully trained and will assist you throughout the tour to ensure your safety. Day 7 Punta Islita *Suggested activities: Time to pamper yourself!  Pepper your day with relaxation…The ocean can provide a unique backdrop for a full-body massage or a luxurious facial with tropical herbs.  Relax by the pool, sip a cocktail, or just lounge in a hammock.  As a crowning moment of perhaps the most soothing and romantic day of your lives, request the beach-side private dinner. Day 8 Return to San Jose/Costa Rica Marriott Hotel

Day 9 Departure from San Jose
A transfer from the hotel will take you to the Juan Santamaria International Airport for your return flight.
