Arrival to San José/ Marriott Courtyard

2 White Water Pacuare Adventure/Rios
Tropicales Lodge
A Rios Tropicales shuttle will provide transportation from
the hotel to the Pacuare River for an exciting world-class
rafting adventure. Glide over the white rapids through long
swaths of pristine jungle and abundant wildlife. Pacuare
rewards its visitors with awe-inspiring views and unforgettable

stay at the spectacular Rios Tropicales Lodge for intimate,
rustic-style accommodations in the heart of the Rainforest
and overlooking the banks of the Pacuare River. As an "Eco-Adventure

3 Pacuare River/Suerre Hotel
After a hearty breakfast, enjoy the second part of your
white-water adventure through more rapids and breathtaking
waterfalls. Upon completion, the Rios Tropicales Shuttle
will drive you to the Suerre Hotel in Guapiles for a good
night's rest. This small Hotel is located midpoint between
San Jose and Tortuguero National Park and offers convenient
and comfortable accommodations as you travel to Costa
Rica's Caribbean Plains.

4 Lush Tortuguero Adventure/Pachira
Lodge
Your day begins bright and early when you board the Pachira Lodge
Shuttle to begin your unforgettable Tortuguero Lush Adventure.
A bilingual guide will accompany you on the short boat ride through
Tortuguero National Park -one of the most bio-diverse areas of
Costa Rica. Located on the Caribbean Coast, its exuberant network
of water canals are teeming with exotic flora and fauna including
the endangered Great Green Macaw, White-Faced monkeys, and Green
Sea Turtles. Accessible only by water, Pachira Lodge is a rustic
yet beautiful and comfortable lodge located five minutes from
the National Park's entrance. In addition to the exciting surroundings,
Pachira offers an inviting swimming pool, delicious buffet meals,

Tortuguero Canals/Pachira Lodge
Optional morning tour: Enjoy nature at its best by gliding
on a boat journey through the canals when dawn breaks through
the jungle. Like true explorers you can spot toucans, monkeys,
sloths, and a myriad of tropical birds. A bilingual guide
will provide exciting insight into the habitat and quirks
of these canal dwellers. After a hearty meal at the Lodge,
you can proceed with another guided hiking tour through
the jungle to the heights of Tortuguero Hill. For those
traveling between July and October, Pachira offers a magnificent
evening tour to witness the egg-laying ritual of the Atlantic
Green Sea Turtle.

6 Arenal Volcano/Rainforest
Early morning flight departure to San Jose. A car rental
representative will await for you at the airport to
deliver a Toyota Rav 4 or similar 4x4 vehicle for your
3-4 hour drive to Arenal Volcano (private transfers
can be arranged in lieu of a car rental). This is a
good opportunity to enjoy the Costa Rican countryside
through idyllic rolling hills and picturesque small
towns. Arenal Volcano rewards its visitors with spectacular
red-hot lava displays and earth-rattling thunder. Nestled
in a lush valley on the northern side of Arenal Volcano,
you can find a broad selection of lodging options, among
them: Tabacon Resort, Volcano Lodge, Arenal Paraiso,
Lavas Tacotal, La Masion Arenal Inn.

7 Arenal Volcano

8 Return Drive to San Jose/Departure
from Costa Rica
Early departure to San Jose, in time to board your afternoon international
flight. Car rental drop off at the airport. The drive from Arenal
to San Jose takes between 3-4 hours so if you have an early morning
flight you can extend your stay for one more evening at the Courtyard
Marriott. We are confident that Costa Rica will have provided
an enchanting honeymoon full of beauty, exuberance, and charm.
And we are certain that you will have found in Exotic Honeymoons,
